Welcome to my Magic: the Gathering Collection. Right now, I have my cubes on display. Side note, this is also a mega cube. That is, there is a plan to allow players to cross into using all cubes together, but there isn’t a rule set governing this, yet. For each cube, please keep these rules in mind. Check Primers for detailed information. Playmats, Deck Boxes, Token Holders, and dice/counters will be provided by host. InfiniTokens available upon request.

While you could get a better explanation of what a cube is from the YouTuber known as the professor or any number of other content creators, to sum up, it’s a repeatable sealed/draft experience. Detailed Cube explanations can be found on Cube Cobra, which I use to store my cube lists. As a note, I will be creating a list of half-decks for my Jumpstart! Cube in the future. Reading the Jumpstart! Cube explanation, further down, will explain why this will be important.

Many people who speak of a cube will refer to Power Cubes. A Power Cube is, typically, a cube with a Singleton format and game warping effects. My cubes are configured as Set Cubes. They are curated to incorporate multiples of certain cards to replicate a draft/sealed experience with the set, while being slightly altered in order to allow for certain strategies to be more viable or to create more balanced game play. My start for each Cube was, in some way, to crack packs in the set, then incorporate more cards in order to even things out across the color pie and set strategies.

Feedback of cube experience is appreciated. Feedback may be verbal or in paper, until a Discord or other communication standard is settled. I will admit that, as a true shuffle may end with you being mana flooded or mana screwed in a real game, the packs may lean more in color or lack of color, due to the nature of true randomness and shuffling. If this happens, I will allow one mulligan per pack by swapping for another pack. *Half-decks not included.

Default formats are listed. That is to say, there is a format of how these cubes are intended to be drafted. Alternate configurations are available upon request, but if the alternate configuration would require the packs to be arranged differently, the host will require advance notice of such request. Of each cube, MBC, Jumpstart!, or Un-Cube, each has a specific configuration of draft. If you want the traditional 15-pack Mystery Booster configuration, this will remove the pick 2 option, and will require advance request. If you want to do a Jumpstart! pick 2 of 3, this does not change the pack configuration, but does reduce the potential size of participants. The Un-Cube can be done with 3x 20-card packs, dropping the half-deck with reduced potential participants, or a straight Unsanctioned half-deck play is available, as well. Commander variants of the cubes require 60-card decks, with 20-card packs to be prepared for the MBC, which the Un-Cube is already configured for. The Jumpstart! Cube does not have a Commander configuration, yet.

Special Rules & Information

Generally speaking, Jumpstart! sets have half-deck packs where you have a half deck per pack. You will be offered two packs to combine. (An alternative, which may be considered would be a pick 2 of 3.)

Each half deck has lands and do not require land stations.

Please maintain half deck lists in the provided containers.

Un-Cube

The Un-Cube features Un-Cards from every Un-Set. UnGlued, UnHinged, UnSanctioned Half-Decks (Half-Decks are part of the Rules), and UnFinity.

Special Rules & Information

Special Drafting: 2 x 20 card packs, pick 2, then choice pick of UnSanctioned ½ Decks with ½ Deck trade post draft. (You can swap what is left in the middle if you didn’t get what you want, which might change and you can swap if your deck wasn’t available, right away.)

60-card decks, if the ½ Deck & 20 card pack formula is used. (Please maintain the ½ Deck lists.)

Some cards have special rules that call to permanently alter a card. See host or read the primer for clarification. Some cards call for dexterity checks, there will be a tape measure present, you can ask the host or look up the YouTube video for information on how dexterity checks are supposed to work.

Note: Deadpool is in the collection.

If you get a booster tutor, there are two methods of play. Method one is to use the cube as default configured packs. You can also buy/bring your own! You will keep cards from packs you buy/bring and crack. For the sake of the game, the host will provide silver sleeves and inner sleeves for use during play. A Dragonshield box will be provided available upon request (so you can keep your cards separate and safe, post game).

Conspiracy Cube

This Cube contains cards from Conspiracy 1 & 2.
